As many of you have already heard, Eric Latreille recently stepped down as President of the EMHA. The Executive would like to thank Eric for his tremendous contributions to our association and his leadership over the last 5 plus years. He will be greatly missed.
As a result of Eric stepping down, the Executive has appointed Jeff Dunbrack as interim president until our AGM at a yet to be determined date. Jeff has been involved with the EMHA since 2013 as a coach, VP Initiation, VP Novice, and ice scheduler. Jeff also brings a wealth of experience from working in the Canadian Sport system.
Eric has graciously offered to assist Jeff through a transition period.
The AGM will be set once we get approval from HEO to resume hockey operations.
The AGM will be a busy one as there are a number of board positions that need to be filled. The following executive positions are up for election:
The board is also proposing several amendments to the Constitution of the Embrun Minor Hockey Association. Specifically, we propose to amend the following sections:
Comme plusieurs d'entre vous l'ont déjà entendu, Eric Latreille a récemment quitté ses fonctions de président de l'AHME. L'Exécutif tient à remercier Eric pour sa formidable contribution à notre association et son leadership au cours des 5 dernières années et plus. Il nous manquera beaucoup.
À la suite du départ d'Eric, le Comité Exécutif a nommé Jeff Dunbrack président par intérim jusqu'à notre AGA dont la date est encore à être déterminer. Jeff est impliqué à l'AHME depuis 2013 en tant qu'entraîneur, VP Initiation, VP Novice et planificateur de glace. Jeff apporte également une riche expérience de travail dans le système sportif canadien.
Éric a gracieusement offert d'aider Jeff pendant une période de transition.
L'AGA aura lieu une fois que nous aurons obtenu l'approbation de HEO pour reprendre les activités de hockey.
L'AGA sera chargée car il y a un certain nombre de postes à être combler. Les postes de direction suivants sont à élire:

Le conseil propose également plusieurs modifications à la constitution de l'Association de hockey mineur d'Embrun. Plus précisément, nous proposons de modifier les sections suivantes:

- Director – Registration
- Director – Equipment Management

- Director – Development (coach mentor)
- Director – Risk Management
- Director – Fundraising
- Director – Tournaments
- Webmaster
The board is also proposing several amendments to the Constitution of the Embrun Minor Hockey Association. Specifically, we propose to amend the following sections:
- Article I(3) to amend the boundaries as per new guidelines provided by District 3.
- Article IV (2) & (3) to merge the positions of VP Initiation and VP Novice to the position of VP Development and to separate the roles of Director of Development and Director of Risk Management. To remove the role of Director – Statistician and Director – Referee Scheduler. Appendix A – Duties of the Board Members would be updated to reflect the new duties of these positions and to update the duties of the other positions.
- Appendix B (10)(b) to have the sponsor name below the number as it does not fit above the numbers on the new jerseys.
- Appendix B 10(f) will be deleted. It required all official clothing to be blue, white and gold.
- Appendix B 11 add new (b) Air horns as they are banned by District 3.

- Article I (3) pour modifier les limites de les zones conformément aux nouvelles directives fournies par le district 3.
- Article IV (2) & (3) pour fusionner les postes de VP Initiation et VP Novice au poste de VP Développement et pour séparer les rôles de Directeur of Développement et Directeur Gestion de risques. Supprimer le rôle de directeur - statisticien et directeur - ordonnateur des arbitres. L'annexe A - Fonctions des membres du conseil serait mise à jour pour refléter les nouvelles fonctions de ces postes et pour mettre à jour les fonctions des autres postes.
- Annexe B (10) (b) pour avoir le nom du commanditaire en dessous du numéro car il ne rentre pas au-dessus des numéros sur les nouveaux chandails.
- L'annexe B 10 (f) sera supprimée. Il fallait que tous les vêtements officiels soient bleus, blancs et dorés.
- Annexe B 11 ajouter b) Avertisseurs sonores, car ils sont interdits par le District 3
